First of all I want to say "you cannot make soap without lye (sodium hydroxide, potassium
hydroxide or caustic soda beads, etc.) these are all forms of lye and folks these are chemicals.
Soap is the result of mixing sodium hydroxide, liquid and oils.  You cannot have soap without
these three ingredients, period.  So in your travels if you see someone selling soap and they
say I use no chemicals or lye this cannot be true.  Even glycerin has sodium cocoate which is
produced by hydrolysis of the ester linkages in coconut oil with sodium hydroxide, a strong
base. Not too long ago a fellow soaper sent me an e-mail asking " how can you use lye in your
soap when everyone knows it burns the skin and takes out all the natural goodness in the
soap".  I must say I was amazed especially when her ingredients clearly stated sodium
hydroxide. She didn't know sodium hydroxide was lye.

Although I grew up making soap with my grandmother, I am now in my f
ourth year of  making
handmade soap as a business doing my best to create lovely all natural soaps for the family
and pets.

I am committed to making the finest natural, handmade soaps, bath salts, lotions, body butters
,
scrubs
and moisturizing body bars  possible using only tried and true handcrafted methods.
My natural soaps are handmade in small, quality controlled  batches from pure food grade
olive and rice bran oils, certified organic coconut and palm oils as well as moisturizing
ingredients such as goat's milk, buttermilk, honey, Shea butter, cocoa butter and avocado
butters.  My vegetable oil blends create luxurious, smooth and creamy soap bars with
incredible lather that is thick and rich, but washes off clean without ever leaving a residue on
your skin.  My old fashioned method of soap making learned from my grandmother (she's
96-years-old) is often called cold process in which the naturally occurring glycerin is retained
in each batch and bar of soap.  My soap will not strip your skin of natural oils, while the
glycerin will contribute additional moisture to your skin.  Using my all natural handmade soap
will not leave your skin feeling dry and itchy like the soap you buy in the stores.

All of my soap is handmade in 60 bar batches, poured into wooden molds to set overnight,
hand cut and placed on drying racks to "cure" for three to four weeks depending on whether
the soap has milk or not.  Each regular bar is 4.5 ounces and the Calico soaps are 5.5 ounces.
To create my scented blends I use only organic botanicals, pure essential oils and well as FDA
approved "skin safe" fragrance oils to re-create favorite scents when essential oils are not
available.  I use fresh goat's milk from our local neighbors and organically grown herbs and
botanicals.  My soaps
, lotions, body butters and bath salts never contain any artificial
colorants or clays, artificial latherer's, or low grade filler oils
.

I now have more then 7
5 varieties of handmade soaps, infused oils, candles, lotions, butters
and bath salts, which are available on line.

As you can see in my "available" soaps, I carry unscented soaps with and without oatmeal, in
goat's milk and natural soap without any herbals or exfoliants.

I look forward to meeting you either at the Webster flea market or through my web site.  If you
have any questions please contact me through my "contact us" or 813-783-8587.

I love to experiment with different herbs, scents and additives such as oatmeal, flax seed, etc.
When I create a new soap I give samples to my best friend Theresa and my family to try, their
feedback determines if the soap is put on my site and in my brochure for sale or not.
